Come peek inside Millers' Pointe, our mostly-finished new home in Redmond, Oregon. These semi-weekly rantings hope to chronicle the life and times of our immediate and extended family and have been brought to you by the late-afternoon latte from Bellatazza in downtown Bend.
Well-read, slight workaholic with (currently) two jobs, one *adorable* toddler-turning-teenager and a really great husband who more than puts up with me for some strange reason. Somedays I feel so in the moment that I'm soaking up our lives through my eyeballs. Somedays, I feel like I'm standing in the middle of the freeway with our lives flying past me at the speed of light. Somedays, I'd just like to get this house finished, already.

Our family has been blessed again...
Please let me introduce you to Isaac Allen Eugene Dod. He was born Christmas Day at 7-ish eastern standard time, weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces. Mom and baby are doing well!
Adoptive Mom and Dad (Sarah and Carey) are on a plane as I write this, on their way to meet their baby for the first time.
So on this day we celebrate two birthdays.
