Come peek inside Millers' Pointe, our mostly-finished new home in Redmond, Oregon. These semi-weekly rantings hope to chronicle the life and times of our immediate and extended family and have been brought to you by the late-afternoon latte from Bellatazza in downtown Bend.
Well-read, slight workaholic with (currently) two jobs, one *adorable* toddler-turning-teenager and a really great husband who more than puts up with me for some strange reason. Somedays I feel so in the moment that I'm soaking up our lives through my eyeballs. Somedays, I feel like I'm standing in the middle of the freeway with our lives flying past me at the speed of light. Somedays, I'd just like to get this house finished, already.
Ten years ago, (give or take a few months) I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from this fine place: 
I can't say I've actually used my degree per se, but the education that I received definately prepared me for what would come later in my professional life. So it was nice to get together with a few friends this past weekend to catch up, reminisce and reflect on ten years well spent.
Very well spent.
